weft hair extensions are one of the most popular ways to add length and volume without damaging your natural hair. the rows (or “wefts”) of hair are sewn and beaded into your natural hair and customized to blend seamlessly. whether you’re looking for fullness or length, weft extensions are a great option. they’re low-maintenance, super versatile (yes, you can still wear your hair in a pony or bun), and perfect for anyone who wants long, healthy looking hair. if you’re in the phoenix area and have been searching for natural-looking hair extensions, wefts might be exactly what you’re looking for.
-
weft hair extensions are installed by creating a secure base using beads and then sewing the wefts onto that base. it’s a customizable, gentle method that doesn’t require heat or glue. so it’s great for maintaining the health of your natural hair. we tailor every install to your hair type and lifestyle, so whether you want one row for fullness or multiple rows for maximum length, we’ll customize an install that works for you. and because weft extensions are so secure and flat to the scalp, they grow out beautifully and stay comfortable in day-to-day life.

there are a few different types of wefts, and we absolutely have our favorites.
hand-tied wefts are thin, lightweight, and great for fine to medium hair. they lay pretty flat and typically add medium volume.
machine-tied wefts are thicker and denser, which means more hair per row. we don’t love machine wefts because they are bulky and typically are too heavy for 90% of clients.
micro wefts (genius wefts) are kind of the best! they lay flatter than hand-tied, but also have more volume. micro wefts are what we personally choose to wear in our hair and what we usually install on our clients.

we don't stick to one specific method. we believe in 100% customization. every install every client. we base our installs on our clients unique scalp health, scalp elasticity, head shape, and hair growth pattern.

maintenance for your weft hair extensions is super straightforward. you’ll come in every 6–8 weeks for a move-up. during your appointment, i’ll fully remove and reinstall the wefts. and check everything to make sure your scalp and hair are staying healthy underneath.
this is also the perfect time to get a deep clean, you can choose either a “wet moveup” or a “dry moveup”. a dry moveup includes the removal, reinstall, a haircut and dry style. a wet moveup includes a removal, scalp detox, reinstall, blowout, and hair cut. regular weft extension maintenance helps your install last longer, keeps the hair in great condition, and prevents tension or matting.

our weft extensions are made to last. they can last anywhere from 8 to 10 months. we recommend coming in every 6–8 weeks for a move-up to keep them secure, seamless, and looking their best.
